Failure to take old appliances

[ Edited ]

I ordered a washer and dryer from Riverdale NJ Store #2509.  The units were purchased on 11/25/18 and delivered 12/2/18.  Delivery order number: {removed per forum guidelines}.

The order included the removal of the old units at a charge of $19.99 a piece.

On the day of delivery, the delivery men said that there was little room on truck (first delivery of the day). They asked if they could return and get the units later that day or the next.  I agreed.   They never returned.  The units were eventually removed (a month later) via arrangement with the trash company.

I called the customer service line.  They referred me to the store to issue the refund.  I called the store (I live in NH, now).  No answer, just a looped tape of a phone ringing.  This is the most aganizing part.

Could you arrange for refund of the delivery charges or have the manager of store contact me to do so?
