Re: Do You Recycle CDs? 💿

Due to COVID 19 I would imagine that Best Buy's recycling program is temporarily on hold. Recycling is primarily for consumer electronics as opposed to compact disks. If you're looking to do something with them, take them to a record store or donate them to a library. Maybe it will net you a couple of bucks.

Unfortunately Best Buy has phased out Compact Disks but has a large supply of Vinyl as it has made a comeback again.

Re: Do You Recycle CDs? 💿

Hi there, philthethrill!

It is always a pleasure to hear from our customers, and we’re elated to learn you’re interested in doing your part to responsibly dispose of media you no longer need. Best Buy is extremely involved with recycling in our communities, however compact discs are not something we are able to accept. For more information what can be recycled through our retail stores, please review our recycling options.

I hope this helps! It looks like hockeycanuckjc provided some great suggestions. If you have further questions, please let us know!
