Had I known my order would be delivered by FedEx, I would have begged off that option immediately because of my prior experience with this carrier. I ordered a laptop and received info that it would deliver on Tuesday 1 June. When I ordered, understanding that my actual delivery location might require a bit more detail/explanation, I attempted to add clues to my address on your site, and I also tried to squeeze as much info into that small 40 or so character box you supply for additional instructions.
Needless to say, none of that worked and I have since received three delivery exceptions because the driver claims not to be able to deliver. This is after reaching out directly twice to FedEx and providing instructions...instructions that never got to any of the drivers.
These issues are unique only to this carrier. Currently I am in delivery hell.
FedEx states they will attempt to deliver again on FRIDAY 4 June. As I did before, I contacted the carrier and provided the additional delivery instructions for them. I am highly doubtful. I ordered from Best Buy partly because of the promise of quick delivery.
As I am unable to physically leave my home to pick the product up myself, and I'm sure once Best Buy has shipped a product, there is little or nothing they can do about outcomes like my own, is there some way that your site can offer alternative carriers or at least provide a larger character count to assist this carrier with consistent logistics issues?

Hello, seinejane, and welcome to our online community!
Thank you for joining our forum and posting for support. I can imagine it to be very frustrating having multiple deliveries from a specific carrier fail to show up, but I'm glad to hear you've been attempting to work with them directly to resolve these issues.
While we are unable to delegate which carriers are used in the delivery process of a package, we're always happy to provide any support that we can following a delivery issue. Please feel free to reach back out here with any specific order questions or concerns.
