Deliver status says OnTrac Delayed for weeks, OnTrac said items delivered, BestBuy refuse Refund

I ordered 2 Lenovo laptops and the laptops wered never delivered by OnTrac. The status of my order on bestbuy account still shows delayed. I called OnTrac and they said that the items were delivered. I'm very confused because I was home all day on the delivery day and there was no delivery. I call BestBuy customer support to request a refund since it has been 2 weeks, but they did not offered a refund. Please help.

I got the following message from BestBuy staff and I don't think it's acceptable: "Thank you for verifying your information and for providing additional clarity.After further review, we would be unable to provide a refund or reship on this matter, given the circumstances.We recommend contacting local law enforcement for further assistance.Blue Social Media Specialist"

 

Why should I contact the Law Enforcement when the package was not delivered? I was home all day and I even have the Camera system pointing at my porch; there are no recording of package theft. The order from my account even say "delayed". So the question is why can't you issue me a refund?

The API used by many companies to display real time shipping information may vary from what is provided on the official carrier site. I would contact the local Ontrac Hub in your area and also file a police report in this case if this was the final response provided by Best Buy
