We ordered a dryer yesterday from the Flower Mound Best Buy warehouse. We picked it up yesterday evening and when we unpacked it from the carton, we noticed that it had a large dent on the side. The box itself was not damaged, so it was shipped like that.
I called 888-BEST-BUY this morning and was put through to customer service in the Philippines. They offered me a 10% discount, which amounts to only $50. The open box price on that item is $125 off, so we should at least get that.
I feel that we should get a scratch & dent price because we got a dented item. $50 off is an insult. The CSR's other "solutions" were to return the item to the store ourselves (we're not doing that) or to go talk to a random store manager in person to get a bigger discount. I feel like a store manager isn't going to be very helpful to us because we bought the item online and picked it up at a warehouse. I'm not sure they can even authorize something like that so we'd be wasting our time.
Best Buy needs to make this right.

You had your chance...we kept trying customer service on our own and everyone was so rude and condescending that we have decided to return the item for a refund instead and purchase it from another store.
That's how terrible your company is.
The last company I had this much trouble with was Sears. Where are they now?
