I need some assistance resolving an authorized recurring charges from Geek Squad. I brought in my laptop for a repair In November 2020 and the agent charged me for a fee but did not mention that this was a subscription. I just needed the repair for my device at that time.
I was not aware of this "subscription" until they charged my BestBuy account again in November 2021.
I have called them several times between 12/3/21-1/26/22, and have been promised on all calls that this was being taken cared off and will be credited the charged amount of $199.99. They even went so far as issuing me a reference number. So far, they have only credit $5. This is the only charge on my Best Buy Account and so now I am accumulating interest charges. I have had this card for 14 years and have made a decision to close out due to the worry that I will be once again charged this year.
The last call I made to Geek Squad on 1/26/22. During this call I requested to speak to a manager but I was refused.

We appreciate you taking the time to post this to our forum, and I of course can understand being concerned over a recurring charge you were not aware of. I can also say that if you were promised a refund of this charge, you should have received the refund. I would like to look into this for you.
