After talking with staff at BB I recently bought an Ipad that I needed for work. I later discovered it has no GPS, the only thing I needed it for! They sold me this model to get a quick sale and lied about the limitations.
When I researched I realised I need a different model, went back to the store but they will not exchange as it was over 15 days, but still less than a month.
Its Best Buys fault and I am still willing to pay more to correct their mistake and they wont help. Got my money and now. they dont care!
I advise anyone to shop elsewhere, you will get much better support.
If anything changes I will update.

I do apologize if you were provided incorrect information about a certain item that was supposed to have what you were looking for built in. Our Blue Shirts should be providing you with the expert service that you deserve.
With that said, the Return and Exchange Promise does state that 15 days is what is provided, but these times can be exteneded by becoming an Elite (30 days) or Elite Plus (45 days) member with the free My Best Buy membership!

That is your answer? That I should have paid even more money to rectify your poor sales staff service?
I will spread the news to everyone I know about these scummy tactics that you engage in. Just go to Costco and you will see real customer service and retention.
I hope that I can warn other people and they in turn warn others not to shop at Best Buy. You will loose hundreds of customers just by cheating this one!
You had the chance to do the right thing and simply refused.

Not sure where the mention was to pay more, but if the model you were looking for required more money for the features you're looking for, then you would have to pay more. I was apologizing about the incorrect information that may have been provided.

The free (My Best Buy) program is there for all of our customers and I hope that all of them can take advantage of it. It has many advantages from our price match guarantee time frames to the return and exchange promise time frames too!
With apologies, I'd be unable to promise what outcome will come from the product being outside your return and exchange promise, but I do hope you're able to get an official response here soon!

We expect all of our Blue Shirts to provide accurate information at all times, so you have my apologies if this was not the case here. Our Return & Exchange Promise allows for most items to be returned within 15 days. If you are a My Best Buy Elite member, the window is extended to 30 days for most items, and 45 days for most items if you are a My Best Buy Elite Plus member.

So I finally resolved the issue, the support team on here were great and liased with the store to make things right. I hope the same support and integrity can filter through to all the other stores.
