Best Buy return period is 15 days. Unfortunalty you have exceeded that.
I would sugget contacting Intax customer support, they may have a solution for their product.

We know how important capturing those precious memories are to you, so we appreciate that you came to us for your Instax Mini 9 purchase. That said, the experience you have described does not match the one we intended.
Bobberuchi is correct that our Return & Exchange Promise is 15-day for Core Members, 30-days for Elite Members, and 45-days for Elite Plus Members. However, we would be happy to explore your concerns further.
Having a product stop working properly is never fun, but we know it's even less so when it's brand new. There should be a one-year manufacture warranty on your product, just in case anything stops working after the return period. You can share your experience with Fujifilm, by filling out there contact support page here.
