CLAIM FILED IN NOVEMBER NO RESPONSE AT ALL!!!

Best Buy installed a dishwasher for us in November (20th).  we soon realized water was seeping up through our NEW vinyl plank flooring and lifting it.  The subfloor is also damaged! We were told we would receive a call back in 24 hours.  No call.  we called back.  Again, 24 hours...NO CALL. We were told they filed a claim but gave us no claim number.

A few days later we called back and no claim was ever filed.

 

Claim {removed per forum guidelines} was finally filed.

 

We were told to contact Shelly {removed per forum guidelines} directly (Sedgwick).  We emailed her photos of the damage.  NO RESPONSE after several emails in the past two months!! Does not return calls or emails!

 

We went to the store.  We were told they can do nothing, call sedgwick.  So helpful since we get nowhere witrh that!!!

 

My new flooring is ruined. Subfloor is damaged.  NO ONE AT BEST BUY CARES. Sedwick is WORTHLESS.  This is the customer service we get from Best Buy?  I bought a dishwasher that I can't use! Paid for an installation the damaged my home! And NO ONE EVEN TRIES TO HELP.

 

I NEED ANSWERS! I am beyond angry and will NEVER shop at Best Buy again after this fiasco!  Unacceptable!!

I can completely understand your frustrations around the leaking of your dishwasher. Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. are the insurance company that underwrites Best Buy claims for property damage that may occur during home deliveries or installations. I know you already filed a claim and you should be able to call them at (855) 832-1338 between 8 a.m. -  4 p.m. CT, Monday-Friday, to get updates on your claim status.
