Bestbuy credit card deferral

I got a credit card to which I made some big purchases, later I see that the company if offering deferral for two months to help people in need because of covid19. So I get charged interest for 2 billing cycle. I didn't know interest will still apply and I was thinking the company was doing that in good faith to help with the situation since two months is a short period of time for such a big debt. Anyways what is the point in interest still apply, at this point I'm debating if I should keep my credit card, it just feels like a waste of time.

Re: Bestbuy credit card deferral

The card is run by Citibank, bestbuy doesn5 have access to it. You would need to call citinank to discuss it with them
