Best buy store in Sault ate Marie Ontario, Canada

Afternoon,

I have attended this store multiple times in the last few years at first the customer service was great an employees would come see if I needed a hand to find anything and so on. Now the last few times I have been there over the last year no one approaches me I see multiple employees constantly standing in a circle talking while I'm trying to find what I need what is the point of having employees on the floor if the can't even attend to customers ? On Sept 26th I went into the store looking for a Bose wireless speaker online said they had it in the store. I go in look everywhere I see Bose speakers but not the exact one I wanted. I was in the store for about 15 to 20 minutes when I decided I'm going to a competitor. As I was turning around 3 employees walk by as one is leading the other to to a display he made ? Shouldn't instead of spending there time at work socialising shouldn't these employees be doing there job helping customers. Customers should not have to go find employees unless the store is busy but Everytime I'm there there's maybe 3 customers and 10 employees and a good chunk of them are just standing in a circle talking.

Any way I went and bought what I was looking for at the source and within a minute of walking in someone came to ask what I was looking for.

I guess what I'm getting at and not that you guys care or anything is going to happen or change I will not be shopping at best buy anymore.

While that situation does sound frustrating - these forums cater to US based Best Buy's only. The moderators here may be able to forward your experience on to the Canadian team - but they wouldn't be able to assist you other than that.
I am not a forum moderator nor voice of corporate. One of the corporate moderators will be with you as soon as they can for the official response from Best Buy. The forums work on a first come, first serve basis and it can take a while for a response.

Re: Best buy store in Sault ate Marie Ontario, Canada

Hello, Matan,

Thanks for reaching out!

As our friend geishafish mentioned, this forum is for our Best Buy U.S. stores. While we do share a name with our friends up north, we work independently from one another. That being said, customer service should always be our top priority, regardless on if the store is in the U.S., Canada, or Mexico. I would suggest speaking with the leadership store at the Sault ate Marie store directly on your next visit and voicing your opinion. If that is not an option, or you don't feel comfortable doing this, you can reach out to our Canadian counterparts on Twitter by using the handle @BestBuyCanHelp or by visiting their Facebook page which is named Best Buy Canada. However, please note that the latter option only allows public posts and does not have the private message option as their Twitter handle does.

Best,
