I am unable to register my credit card and I don't understand why. The card was already approved and I used it to make purchases. The CS tells me that I am being reviewed and I should expect a call or a mail about next steps. I don't understand what kind of this review is. Is it operated by bestbuy or citibank? This whole credit card process doesn't make sense(or at least not similar to other credit cards) and CS has failed to help me understand it. It makes me feel concerned that I cannot register/manage my credit card. Can someone help clarify it? Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out to us on this, and I'm sure it's frustrating to not be able to register this credit card to your My Best Buy account. I am fairly certain Citibank will need to help you with this, but I am looking into whether or not we could provide you any option. Once I hear back I will post back to this. Just to be clear is this a Best Buy branded credit card? Are you trying to save the credit card to your My Best Buy account on BestBuy.com?

To clarify, any managing of your My Best Buy® Credit Card will be done through Citibank. This includes paying your bill, setting your statement delivery preferences, tracking your payment history, among many other features. To begin this process, you’ll want to follow this link. If you’re still having trouble registering your credit card to manage your account, I’d recommend connecting with Citibank directly at (888) 574-1301, and I’m optimistic they’ll be able to assist you with this process.
