Best Buy unfairly discriminates against the disabled

I think it is very wrong of Best Buy to make it so difficult for those with disabilities to purchase high demand items. Some of us are unable due to our disabilities to navigate quickly enough (multiple rapid actions required within seconds) to secure an item. I have repeatedly placed hard to get items in my cart only to have them sell out or not be “available in my area”. I think this is discrimination and not fair as the disabled should have equal access to all goods and services.

I think Best Buy should address this ASAP

Re: Best Buy unfairly discriminates against the disabled

I sent a private message with my information only to have Best Buy retaliate and cancel my current order and placed a 10 hood on my ability to try to order anything.

Everyone…Do not think Best Buy wants to help you. They only want sheep to be their customers.

Please help me understand what a disability has to do with hard to find items. I think I am missing some kind of connection to the two here.. If there are improvements that need to be made you should use the IDEA X boards to make these suggestions. In all honesty everyone has a fair chance at getting items on the Best Buy website disability or not. Not every Best Buy store is able to secure certain items for in store pickup. It could also be that people are lining up at the store if word gets out that a certain store has them and by the time they sell them in store the inventory updates to out of stock  / not in your area. If the process for buying an item is a bit tedious you can always get assistance via chat and they can help you place the order. All items on the Best Buy site are first come first serve.

FYI - There have been number of complaints on these forums about getting hard to find items. It's just a matter of luck and everyone runs into the same issue regardless of their walk of life.

Re: Best Buy unfairly discriminates against the disabled

FYI Best Buy does not discriminate against the disabled. They are a highly recognized company for disability inclusion. See for yourself here: https://corporate.bestbuy.com/2022-top-place-to-work-for-disability-inclusion/
