On June 2nd, I upgraded to an iphone XR 64gb for my daughters birthday. The day prior there was a $50 BB discount on the phone, but when I returned the next day, that offer was over. So we bought it anyways. This week, there is a $150 BB discount on the same phone. I went to the store and the salesperson was helpful, but he said we could get the $150 BB discount, but the process was complex, where it included returning the new phone, deactivating it, buying a new phone, activating it, transferring data over, etc. We were also unsure how it would affect my trade in iphone that I already sent into verizon. Additionally we already put a $30 screen protector on the phone, so that would be wasted.
Ultimately, due to the complexities of the situation, I'm likely going to forgo the $150. I think as a company BB should just price match this phone, as I'm within the 14d window as of now, the purchase of a new phone is a waste (for the planet, etc), and as a best buy elite plus reward member, I would think they would find a way to make this work.

Welcome back to our forums and thank you letting us know about your experience with our Price Match Guarantee. We do our best to make this process as quick and easy as possible so I'm sorry to hear that this hasn't been your experience so far. Depending on your mobile plan and promotion, we are sometimes only able to accommodate these types of adjustments by returning the first phone you received and processing a sale for a new one. I would recommend continuing to work with your local store to see if we may have any alternatives, they will be best suited to further assist you. I appreciate you taking the time to provide your feedback about this so we can continue to improve the purchasing experience in the future. Please let us know if we can help you with anything else!
