Best Buy for Business: "we couldn't approve that business account"

To be clear: I am not trying to convert personal to business and the business email has never been used at Best Buy for anything.

 

This error is too ambiguous.  I know there's a phone, but there needs to be an ONLINE (email, chat, whatever) way of getting this information to that group, because if you don't put specifically what issues you're having, how can they be fixed?

 

I can tell you that the information entered matches 100% with Dun & Bradstreet and the Feds, so unless you're querying some other source, it's valid.  So I need to know what the real issue is.  If it's that you're querying a source that doesn't reflect the business yet, say that, create the account and just state that it's ineligible for NET30.  At least the account can be created for purchases.  I'm not even asking for credit at this point anyway.

Welcome back to the forums. I agree that the error message you received is not as explanatory as it could be.

 

I understand you don't want to speak to anyone on the phone about his, but our Best Buy For Business team is set up primarily to assist customers by phone. Please call us at (877) 393-1038. We can discuss this with you and see if we can determine why the account creation is not working.
