So, I bought this computer back in the start of August, and originally it was fine.
Except, this laptop hasn't moved from my desk and somehow, the coating on it, has been deeply scratched away. Plus, there's been scratches developing on the screen as well.
I'm incredibly gentle with my products, but this is getting frustrating as it seems the product itself so delicate you can barely press your finger to it without scratching.
I bought it open box, unfortunately, but I didn't know there were any issues with it. It doesn't move and I barely use it at this rate because everytime I do, a new scratch appears.
I would like to exchange it or something because I'm incredibly afraid to touch it and I know I'm outside the time but this is just frustrating.
Please let me know what I can do. it's like the enamel on the laptop is super fine and I've had macs that lasted way longer than this.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forum for support with your recent ASUS computer purchase. I can imagine your surprise to see your open-box purchase in this state, and I would have the same concerns as you if my computer was scratching so easily.
Have you contacted your local store regarding this purchase? Also, have you reached out to ASUS directly regarding the product? They may be able to assist as well.
