Today I purchased a Nest Learning Thermostat and the promotion states I will recieve a Google - Home Mini - Smart Speaker with Google Assistant with purcharse.
I purchased it and was told since I am applying a rebate from my local electric company I will am not eligible for the free offer? Why? Best Buy does not lose money by me applying the rebate! They seem to be using that as an excuse to not give me the Home Mini in the promotional offer. The manager said that if I bought this before January 1st I would have gotten the Mini but they changed the policy.
Why does Best Buy treat it's customers like this?
