I traded in my Xbox One X today and used the proceeds on the subsequent gift card for a small purchase, leaving the remainder on my gift card.
Tonight, I went to scratch off the back to reveal the card number for an online purchase, but accidentally scratched off part of the PIN, so now I can't use it.
Is there anything that can be done?

Thank you for reaching out! I’m glad to hear that you were able to take advantage of our Trade-In Program! Receiving a Best Buy gift card for your unwanted tech is great, but I can certainly see how it would put a damper on things if you accidentally scratch off the PIN.
At this point, it sounds like our best option will likely be seeing if we can transfer the remaining balance of your old gift card to a new one. To potentially do this, I’m going to need a bit more information from you, so please look out for a private message shortly. You should be able to view your private messages by logging into the forum and selecting the envelope icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
