I would like to compliment Nicole who not only was pleasant and willing to help but who should be recognized and promoted. See Best Buy it the employees who enjoy their job that should be the ones receiving promotions and eventually passing that enthusiasm they have onto other employees. But your model is like so many stores that either under pay, don’t a doodoo or just hirer anybody that applies. Take a page from Nordstrom where they have employees that stay for years and years These companies invest in their employees. Without that investment what happens is you get employees who could care less about the company or the customers (which is what I encountered upstairs - employees just showing up for work and not doing their job) and these employees are the ones that will bring your company down quickly and as result people will go elsewhere. In this day and age where most use the internet to purchase it should be your goal to make certain that employees like Nicole advance and thrive.
Here is a young girl who for better or worse is working for you and yet if she continues to see a dead end (my words not hers) she will ultimately leave your company. Which means thats one less good employee who will go to bat for you and your stock holders.
Anyway, please let Nicole know that she is fantastic and that if I should ever shop in your store again I would definitely look for her because I know I will get better results from her .
