Point Banking allows My Best Buy Credit Cardholders to ensure that Reward Certificates are not automatically issued at a certain point balance. This is useful for saving up points for a larger reward, or to prevent expiration of points. At this time, Point Banking is an exclusive feature for My Best Buy Credit Cardholders.
In order to set up Point Banking, you need to log into your My Best Buy account using the Best Buy App or by signing into your account on a web/mobile browser:
1) On the Best Buy App, click on "YourName" on the bottom right. Then, scroll to "Rewards" and click on it. Under "Reward Certificates", you should see an option that says "Point Banking" with the option to change it next to the text. Tap the “Change” link to change your preferences anytime.

2) On a web/mobile browser, visit BestBuy.com and sign into your My Best Buy account. Next, click on "Manage Your Rewards". There should be an option that says "Point Banking" with the option to change it next to the text. Tap the “Change” link to change your preferences anytime.
