One of the great benefits of being a Gamers Club Unlocked member is the 10% bonus value on each game you trade in. This article will give you a brief overview of the trade-in process so you can be sure to get the full value for your games.
Before even visiting your local store, you may wish to hop on www.BestBuy.com/TradeIn to determine the value of the games you are interested in trading in.
After you arrive at your store, the first step associates will complete when processing your trade in will be to assess the condition of your game discs.
After this check is complete the associate will do a search for the title in our trade-in program. This can be completed using the barcode on the case (if included) or by doing a manual search of the game title. This step is repeated for each game you are trading.
Once all games have been added to the trade in cart, the associate will then search for your My Best Buy account. This is typically completed using your phone number. Any accounts associated with that number will be displayed, and the associate must select the correct account to attach it to the trade.
Immediately after this is completed, Gamers Club Unlocked members will see a 10% bonus added to the final value of the trade.
