It seems to be quite a lot of people reporting defective bluray. Half way thru the movie it just stops or skips.
All I am getting from Best But is that if sold out of the sets (and most of them are) there is nothing they can
do for me. Is that a good policy or a responsible one to the customer? I just paid $29.99 for something that
does'nt work. All I want is for them to replace the bluray disc not the entire set. Way to go Best But.

Best Buy can't exchange single discs, it's a legal issue.
A lot of the people reporting problems are probably having issues with their player and not the disc itself. I know several people who have had discs not work in one player, but work fine in another.

I have 2 different bluray players at home. Disc would not play or work in either one. It is a disc problem.

What brands are your players?

Same issue here--definitely a disc problem and not a player problem. I have tried it on a laptop, a Samsung blu ray player and a Panasonic blu ray player and it starts messing up at the same part (around an hour and ten minutes in.) I've only tried the first disc so I don't know if anything's wrong with the special features disc or the dvds.

If it's a defective disc you'll have to return the entire set for exchange or contact Lionsgate to see if they can exchange the single disc.

I heard about this problem. It seems more like a Player problem than Disc problem. These kind of things happen from time to time. Probably have to wait for a update (if your Player supports it) to get it patched. Seems it works for people with Sony players at least.
