Very angry that Resident Evil Steelbook Special Editions are sold out in stores and are already showing up on Ebay. Your stores should not be allowing individuals to clear the shelves so that movies can be resold later at a markup. Not to mention only 100 copies of the Logan Steelbook available for preorder (your operators words not mine). I can only imagine the Ebay asking price on those next week You guys need to realize there's a demand and HAVE MORE STOCK AVAILABLE THAN YOU DO.

How would you prevent Best Buy from selling to people who are going to in turn resell on eBay?

At the end of the day this is still a business and if the shelves get emptied by a couple of individuals that is consider awesome.

One of the worst situaitons for a retailer is to have more stock then they can sell. 

Best case scenario is to have available exactly as many copies as are going to be sold.  But there is no way of knowing what that number can be.

Also, the Steelbooks are controlled by the distributor.  They produce X number of copies and then allot them to the various retailers that will sell them. 

Best Buy may have wanted 23885 copies but were only alloted 12843 copies.

If someone is buying 10-15 copies of a movie THAT is unreasonable, and if they're reselling then they need to be making a BUSINESS PURCHASE with the proper tax documents on hand to make it LEGAL.

There is nothing ilegal about buying a product and reselling it on eBay.  Maybe there should be but there isn't anything in place. You would actually want to go after eBay or other reseller web sites on this.

And thank you, I love Kudo's.  I but some thought into that blurb and I thought it was catchy
