I was hoping someone could tell me how to stream movies from my LG android phone to my LG 1080 T.V.?

Some smart phones can stream videos from their phone by using a micro hdmi to a HDMI adapter normally they run anywhere from 19.99 to 30 might want to go into a local Bestbuy to check with the Samsung Reps to see which adaptor would work best

You should be able to do it with either a Goole Chromcast or an Amazon Firestick.

You can also get a Roku which can stream to your TV independent of your phone.  However, you need a home internet connection.

I was in the market just before the holidays.  I ended up geting a Roku.  I have my router right by my TV so I was able to use ethernet to hook it up. 

It works very well and the video quality is excellent.

I have streamed things from my compute to my tv via hdmi and I think the Roku has bette video quality and was faster.

The only drawback to Roku is most of the servcies it connects to are a monthly Fee.  However, I got it mostly to stream Amazon and CinemaNow to my tv and it is perfect for that.  OH and it can do YouTube

I have a Netgear router.  Belkin and Lynksys are good as well. It is wireless and has ethernet output as well.  My router is about 7 years old and works perfectly fine.  Best Buy has a great selection in store of routers.  There are a lot of expensive options out there but the mid price routers work fine as well.

Generally speaking if you can hook something hard wire instead of going wirless you are going to have better performance.   So I have our Xbox, Blue Ray, Tivo and Roku direct wired and only phones and computers are wireless.

I have a plasma TV.  Roku outputs via HDMI so your TV would have to have HDMI inputs.  I think the Chromcast  and Firestick are HDMI only.  

When I get a new router it will probably be a simultanious dual band router. They are very nice becuase you can dedicate a band for gaming and video.

I have an LG smart T.V. with a dish 722 HD receiver.I do not have any phone line or internet connection through either.I have purchased a Roku 2,a netgear N300 WiFi router,and a netgear wireless N adapter, is it possible to use all of these without having an internet connection?

without an internet connection you cannot connect to the internet except through your phone.

None of those things will do you any good without an internet connection.
