I pre-ordered the steel book but noticed it doesn’t indicate that it’s a 4K copy. Was wondering if anyone knew whether it is a 4K copy or not?
Seems ridiculous that it wouldn’t be. Such a missed opportunity if it’s not.

If the steelbook copy you ordered is SKU: 6320366, its not a 4K format. However SKU: 6319621 is availabe to pre-order and in 4K plus a digital copy. I hope this clarifies your inquiry.

6319621 Is not a steelbook but appreciate your trying to assist when Best Buy itself could care less about appropriately responding.

We would be unable to provide any information as to why certain versions of a movie are produced while others are not.  I would recommend contacting the manufacturer to see why the version you are looking for is not available in the US.

Even though there's no 4K Steelbook, the HD BluRay Steelbook edition was released. However, it sold out faster than I could buy it today (release date) online or in stores.  I won't buy the non-Steelbook edition, so is it going to be re-stocked?

At least that’s a valid response from Best Buy that they don’t control release formats but shame on Sony then. I might have to pass on this movie unless I go region free import 4K.  What a disappointment.

Historically these steelbooks for a release this big won’t show up again in store. Like the Doctor Strange steelbook. But they are available at a premium on eBay.
