Roger Waters "Amused To Death" CD/Blu-Ray Edition - where is it?

So I am looking on the BestBuy.com site for the forthcoming re-issue of Roger Waters amazing album "Amused To Death" which is getting multiple releases on July 24th. Anyways I see the stand alone CD, the CD/DVD, and several vinyl editions are available for ordering yet... not a single listing for the CD/Blu-Ray which I can order from a certain jungle store easily right now. I would rather give Best Buy my business so... what's the deal?

(And please tell me at least the CD, CD/DVD, and CD/Blu-Ray will be available in store too)

Go to Best Buys web site and search for Amused to Death.

there are 4 hits.  CD/BlueRay was the 2nd result.  $29.99

Re: Roger Waters "Amused To Death" CD/Blu-Ray Edition - where is it?

That's really weird because when I posted this it was saying CD/DVD now it saying 1CD/1Blu-Ray Audio alongside CD/DVD. So this looks to be the CD/Blu-Ray but apparently whomever entered the info intially was told it was CD/DVD but then it's been corrected yet the inaccurate CD/DVD still remains (which is kind of confusing).

Is there any word on how soon it will be known if stores will be carrying this? I would really like to know since I'd love to get this on release day.

Probalby passed each other on the way.  Something like this has happened to me any number of times.

Amused to Death is one of my favorite albums.

If your a Roger Waters or Pink Floyd fan don't miss out on the Roger Waters The Wall coming to theaters September 29th if it is in your location. I am frustrated that the nearest theater to me is about 60 miles away from home

Hello again PatsFan99-

It appears that this item is only going to be available for ship to home orders and will most likely not be in our stores.

However, that can always change, so please keep checking back to my link above for possible store availability.

Thanks!

Re: Roger Waters "Amused To Death" CD/Blu-Ray Edition - where is it?

Very disappointed once again. Seems like any new release I look forward to Best Buy rarely if ever carries it these days. Especially given the Pink Floyd name is huge even today (and Roger Waters name right now is very well known thanks to his recent string of huge tours)... this is a huge miss Best Buy. I know it won't be as huge of a seller as say "The Endless River" or even David Gilmour's upcoming album "Rattle That Lock" but Roger has enough of a fan base that is thirsty for this re-release that it'll sell decently.

What are you talking about?  A for versions are available.

However, Pink Floyd is still a valid name but Roger Waters really isn't.  When he came out with Radio Kaos it did horrible.  Pink floyd around the same time came out with Momentary Lapse of Reason.  Roger attributed the poor sales to the fact he was competing with himself.  All of his solo albums have not done very well.

All that aside I think Best Buy is going the better route of shipping only on this item.  I honestly don't think this release is going to sell well.  And a store doesn't want a bunch of unsold copies around the store.

I personaly don't need a second copy.
