HDMI Video Goggles/Glasses that don't require smartphone?

Hi, I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post this, but I was hoping that someone here might be able to assist me in locating a product.

I've noticed that of all of the "VR headsets" on the market, almost all of them require a smartphone to be inserted for functionality (with the possible exception of the Oculus Go or whatever it is).

What I'm looking for is a set of goggles or glasses with an HDMI connector to function as a "monitor" for my notebook, for watching movies and such.

Products under $100 would be ideal.

Is there anything like that on the market?

I don't think anything funcitonal like that exists yet on the market in that price range.

Occulus was supposed to come out with the Dash to replace monitor and not be VR but I don't see it around anymore.

There are some products out there but they are pretty expensive.

I think an issue with it may be that the resolution is going to be pretty low.
