So we purchased SING on Friday... one of the benefits of buying it early, was to get the EARLY digital code so we can enjoy it this weekend.
Got the code minutes later, went to redeem it... and it STATED it redeemed.
But it did NOT show up in my FandangoNOW account... both web, mobile, etc... immediately sent an email to FandangoNOW, because their live support was already closed.
No response till today (Monday), and that response was..
"Recently you requested personal assistance from our on-line support center. Below is a summary of your request and our response.
If this issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may reopen it within the next 0 days."
Given that the physical disk is delivered tomorrow, with my full digital code... really at this point, there is no need.
Disappointing, as we then changed movie night on Saturday to a different movie.
Going forward, there needs to be an easier way to resolve these early distribution of DIGITAL codes... as in a short period of time, the physical discs are delivered. I opted to purchase from Best Buy (which was marginally more expensive, not a whole lot)... because of the benefit of getting the code early...
Not blaming BestBuy, as they did their part... something happened with their partner Fandango... but there was no way to quickly resolve it.
