Constantly damaged steelbooks

When are you going to fix this Best Buy? I'm tired of receiving damaged steelbooks from you. Over and over and over again. For years now. It's absurd. Especially when many are exclusive to your store. I've returned dozens because of damage. DOZENS!!! Haven't you lost enough money on this by now? It's very rare that I receive a steelbook in acceptable condition. I always order two even if I want only one because inevitably always at least one of the steelbooks will be damaged. And I'm talking about obvious damage like a spine that's completely bent or multiple large dents. Often BOTH steelbooks in a single order arrive damaged and I have to return both of them. This was the case with Robocop 4K limited edition that just got released. I received 2 copies in a box with air bags which is better than some of the loose packaging I've gotten from you all, but both steelbooks were still severely damaged...multiple large dents, one with a bent spine. And given the box was in good condition it seems these were packed this way BEFORE shipping them out. Why would a customer be sent a damaged product? Then when I go to return the damaged product...guess what? They're all sold out, so there's no possibility for an exchange. Even though I ordered the product months in advance...I get NOTHING. Thanks, Best Buy. Plus the inconvenience of having to make a return, wait to get that money back on my card. It's ridiculous how often this occurs. I've moved a lot of my business to Amazon in the last year. Have yet to receive a single damaged steelbook from them. They're always perfect. So why is near impossible to get a decent steelbook from Best Buy...especially when they're often your own exclusive products?

Yes, it happens, but it's still usually a positive experience, especially for beginners, I can speak from experience.

It is why I opted to always pick up items in store if there is a steel book.

 

I know that is not convenient for all people though.

Yes, good advice. Unfortunately in-store pickup is not always an option for some steelbooks. I've been buying these for years and though of course I do get some nice ones in perfect condition, on the whole, I receive more damaged product than acceptable. In terms of percentages, the frequency with which this happens is just absurd. I've lately been seeking out other vendors, especially for 4k, which can be bought from Europe or UK, still play fine on US machines.
