Hi I was wondering if I bought the Brave Pre-Sell Collectible Case online at BestBuy.com, could I use the money I payed for this pre-sell to go towards buying the movie in store when it releases? The Best Buy store I go to currently has ran out of the Brave case and I am not sure if they would restock. I don't want to miss out getting the case as well as the movie. If anyone knows something, it would be much appreciated.

Hello LordRaymond,
If your local Best Buy store is currently out of the limited edition steelbook case for Brave, I would recommend pre-ordering the movie on BestBuy.com. Currently, when you place an order for the movie online, the steelbook is automatically added to the order at no additional cost (While supplies last), and there is also no charge for shipping.
There would be an authorization charge at the time of purchase, but since pre-orders aren’t fully charged until the product ships, if it goes on sale at the time of release (as movies sometimes do), you would see a credit for the difference and would only be charged the sale price.
If you are interested in pre-ordering it, you can do that here, http://bbyurl.us/Brave.
Thanks!

When I try to pre-order the movie on bestbuy.com, it only adds the movie to my cart but not the collector's case. Is it too late for the collector's case - does this mean they are sold out?
thanks

Either that, or they didn't properly set up their website for the promotion. Best Buy really does need to fix how they deal with the preorder cases. It's pretty sad that someone can just walk into their store and buy multiple cases, then after the movie is released, purchase the movie elsewhere or not purchase it at all, then go back and get a full refund for the preorder without returning the case.

To imacjenn, the pre order collectible cases are sold out online.

what i got from management was that people are not able to return the pre-order cases for refunds without returning the case as well. this is a phisical item and peope have to purchase it. you have to have the item and slip showing purchase to get a refund, but they are now aware of how people are taking advantage of this with the purchase of multiple cases and reselling them for profit and are hopefully working on a solution.

The issue is that the terms of the preorder don't state the case needs to be returned, so that is the reason people are using to keep the item. I would say the majority of people who are now doing the preorder cases are not purchasing at Best Buy, unless Best Buy has the best deal of all the retailers.
