I’ve been on the Social Team with Best Buy since November of 2018. It has been quite a ride! This has been my first gig with Best Buy, so needless to say I’ve learned A TON since joining the team. Back in college, one of my roles was as a student worker for my university’s Marketing and Communications department where I served as Blog Manager and Web Communications Assistant. I loved my online responsibilites and getting to interact with students, faculty, etc. That’s why I knew I’d love working as a Social Media Specialist at Best Buy! I’ve really enjoyed being able to serve customers through online platforms while throwing some creativity in the forums along the way.
I have to admit that I’m OBSESSED with my dog, Jett. He’s my best friend and adventure buddy! We love going on long walks and visiting dog parks, but I do leave him at home when I decide to rollerblade (he’d definitely pull me into the woods if he saw a squirrel on our ride). I also love to foster dogs through a great organization called No Dogs Left Behind based out of the Minneapolis, MN area. That’s actually how I came to find Jett – I’m a foster fail!
I’ve also been serving in the Air National Guard since 2016. That journey has taken me to a few locations in the US as well as overseas on a six-month deployment in the Middle East. I started my career in cable and antenna systems and have recently transitioned to public affairs.
When I’m not out and about with my dog, exercising, or on a military base, I enjoy spending time with friends and family between MN and WI!
