Wireless gaming mice?

My trusty Corsair gaming mouse is needing retirement.   I am looking into wireless gaming mice.

Any opinions on wireless gaming mice you have used? New technology advances are doing away with the latency issues and response times.

I game on a laptop that is on a lap desk that sits on my lap while I sit on a recliner.  My 1.8 Meter cable is unwieldy.

I would get a new wired mouse if I could find one with a short cord, 18-24" would be optimal or has interchangeable cables.

So far I have considered the Logitec G903 but I don't like that the receiver plugs into a USB cable that then stick out. So would long cable flapping about.

I have considered Corsair Dark Horse SE. But I don't like tha you cannot charge while using.  I have also read complaints that it charges slowly

Re: Wireless gaming mice?

Hey bobberuchi!

There always comes the time where our beloved gaming peripherals can’t stand one more game and tap out. Finding a wired mouse with a shorter cable might prove to be a bit of a challenge. It appears that our website lists most dimensions, with the exception of the cable length.

I’ve personally done a little digging on the G903 and it looks like a pretty heavy duty setup. Paired with the Logitech POWERPLAY Pad, means some pretty intense sessions are in order. I’m sorry if I didn’t aid in your search but truly hope you find a suitable replacement for your beloved Corsair mouse. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

Re: Wireless gaming mice?

Actually last night I was digging around and going to  manufacturers webs sites.

The SteeleSeries Rival 700   has a cable pack you can buy.  There is a cable that is only 1 m long.  Still longer than I need but better than the 2 m I am dealing with.

And Best Buy has this mouse on sale right now for an excellent price.

I saw the power play pad as a very awome option.  Unfortunalty logistically it will not work in my set up.  Some day if I go to a tower and a desktop set up I will go that route.

Re: Wireless gaming mice?

Well I'd recommend buying a mouse with a cable instead. They are usually more comfortable and quite cheaper than the wireless ones.
