Do I sit at my desk and work on my computer, or do I browse cat photos online from the tablet on the couch? The age old question finally has a good answer, or multiple answers in this case, in the form of some great “convertible” laptops. Also known as “2-in-1s”, these computers can effectively function as either a laptop or a tablet depending on your needs. Perfect for the home office, couch browsing, working on the go and everything in between; we’ve got some of the hottest convertibles to pick up. Summer might be over, but it’s still a great time to buy yourself a new convertible.

To kick things off we have the Lenovo Yogo 910. Sporting up to sixteen gigabytes of RAM, a whole terabyte of storage and an Intel i7 processor, this sleek machine is no slouch in the hardware department and can compete with Ultrabook level laptops while staying portable. Weighing in at just over three pounds, you can take your productivity (and cat photos) wherever life takes you and know that you aren’t sacrificing performance.Lenovo Yoga 910.jpg

Next up is the ever popular Surface Book by Microsoft, the latest iteration in their Surface line of 2-in-1s. Sporting the ability to detach from the included backlit keyboard for a more tablet-like feel and numerous configuration options for hardware, there is surely a Surface Book for users of all kinds. Also included is the surface pen for efficient writing and graph drawing, as well as integrated discrete graphics powered by NVIDIA to ensure those demanding games and video run with ease.

The convertible fun does not end yet, as there is also the impressive Spectre x360 2-in-1 that is ready to handle all of your work and play needs.  Though it is called a 2-in-1, the Spectre x360 can effectively function as a 4-in-1! Utilizing a 360 degree design, you have the choice of four usage modes – laptop, tablet, tent, and stand….talk about versatility! With a built in HP TrueVision HD webcam and stereo speakers by Bang & Olufsen, you will surely not be disappointed if this becomes your choice in convertible.

So what if you are an HP loyalist, you still want a 2-in-1, but the Spectre x360 isn’t quite for you? Well then the HP Pavilion x2 is likely to fill that void. It has a budget-friendly price tag without sacrificing portability and productivity! Though it does not sport quite as powerful hardware as its predecessors, the HP Pavilion x2 still brings a quad-core Intel processor and two gigabytes of RAM to power its 10.1 inch screen so that you can work, stream, and browse on the go.

Last but certainly not least we have the Asus Q304UA, a stylish aluminum 2-in-1 available in silver and black color configurations. The Q304UA may not be as flexible as some 2-in-1s, but it makes up for it with full HD 13.3 inch screen, six gigabytes of RAM, a 7th Gen Intel i5 processor, and a whopping 1 terabyte of storage space for all the files you could ever want to store.HP Spectre.jpg

No matter which one suits your style, we’ve got an impressive assortment of convertibles ready to fulfill all the tasks you can throw at them. From browsing the web on the couch to finishing up that school project, you’re sure to be productive and in style with a new convertible.
