If it's been a long day at work, school or you just need a break from reality the PlayStation VR (PSVR) will take you away and give you an experience unlike anything you've seen before.
I was lucky enough to demo Until Dawn: Rush of Blood on PlayStation VR. I've used other virtual reality, but was most excited for the PSVR because of my love for all things PlayStation. The setup was incredibly streamlined and simple. I grabbed the PlayStation headset and was transported to a dark, creepy world filled with terror around every corner. The motion controllers were two duel wielding pistols that laid fire to all oncoming attackers. The response time was incredible and the sound design made me sit on the edge of my seat.
I grew up loving the arcade. It was my way of escaping rural Minnesota and engaging in some of the most immersive experiences of my life. Silent Scope and Beach Head were some of my fondest memories. The wave of the future is virtual reality and PlayStation VR is off to a strong start for console gamers. The future is bright with some incredible announcements at E3 such as Batman Arkham VR and Resident Evil 7 VR.
The release date for PlayStation VR is October 13th, 2016 and can be demoed at select Best Buy stores. Be among the first to get a hands-on experience of the PlayStation VR. Stop in to try on the headset, test out the virtual reality features and get answers to your questions.
