Wi-Fi connectivity tips for models NS-SP1X7, NS-SP1XM8 and NS-CH1XIS8

If the Wi-Fi router is momentarily turned off and back on again (a practice that some users perform to clean up the router’s cache and improve connectivity and speeds) in rare cases the Insignia Smart Plugs and Wall Switch may not automatically rejoin the network. This is typically is indicated by the device continuously showing a flashing green LED even after Wi-Fi has been restored. 


The resolve this, simply disconnect the plug from power and plug it back in.  After a few seconds, the LED will stop flashing and the plug should rejoin the network.


For the Wall Switch, the user will need to remove the decorative face plate and push its reset button (via the small hole on the lower left of the switch body) for ~1 sec and release.   A pin tool or a straightened paper clip will be needed to access the reset switch.
