Wall switches blinking

Hi I have 3 wall switches and 2 are blinking. When I open the app it says those 2 are offline but still work if I turn it on with the app. My HomeKit still detects it and still works but my Alexa doesn’t recognize it anymore. Has anyone had this problem before and a fix?

I have this same issue with one of the three wall switches I own. Even though Insignia’s app says the switch is off line, the toggle right there in the app works most of the time! At this point I just want it to stop blinking.

Hello Chico & peharbison,

 

Thank you both for joining our community to share that your Wall Switches are blinking. I understand that can certainly be frustrating when you’re not quite sure how to fix it, and it may not be working as it should be. I’d be happy to offer a couple of  trouble shooting steps.

 

Have you tried to reset your switches to see if that resolves the blinking issue? You can do that by pressing the button below the switch. Ensure that the button is pressed around 30 seconds to a minute until it clicks.

 

If that doesn’t work I’d recommend trying to do a hard reset. You’re able to do this by pressing the secondary reset button on the switch located below the cover on the bottom left. You’ll need a pin to press it.

Ok So one stopped blinking on its own and is working fine now. The second I ended up resetting to factory setting and connected it over again as a new switch and that took care of it. Thank you.
