Needless to say, I am unable to activate my Insignia NS-CH1XIS8 Wifi Wall Switch.
I have several Insignia smartplugs that I purchased before this wifi wall switch. When I go into the Insignia app, I choose the "add wall switch" button but I only see my previously installed smartplugs as selections. I ended up re-adding the already installed smartplugs and found that they were not my new wifi wall switch.
I installed all the wires correctly and it powers on. The green light keeps blinking. However, when I press the reset button (even for more than 15 seconds), I never hear a 2nd click. I've tried doing a factory reset many times. The wall switch never appears as a selection to add as a new device.
Another wacky thing that happens is that after doing the factory reset, there is a constant, intermitttant click that keeps going. My porch light that is controlled by the wifi wall switch keeps blinking intermittantly with the repeating click that does not stop until I do some random tapping on the manual switch.
I'm about to give up and return this product. Do you have any suggestions?

Decking your phone out in smart enabled items can be a lot of fun. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with one of the wall-switches. I understand how frustrating that can be when it’s not syncing as easily as you’d expect it to.
Have you tried to press the secondary reset button under the faceplate of the NS-CH1XIS8? You’ll need a pin to press it. Also, can have you recently reset your router?
