Same behavor for me as well (blinking green lights on all my switches but can still be controlled from HomeKit). I reset one and added it back to HomeKit but that didn't stop the light. I am going to try a factory reset next, as I think they poorly designed the switches to blink if they cannot connect to the Insignia servers, even though they shut that feature down and I am using HomeKit as well, which is working. I believe that factory resetting the switch and adding it back to HomeKit may solve the issue because the switch will no longer be reaching out to the Insignia servers (as I had to register them there in the first place).

I tried both a network (10sec) reset and a factory (15sec) reset, and the LED lights still blink. I've also tried removing the device from Insignia (instead of via Home), followed by a factory reset. Finally I tried removing the device from Insignia, then signing out of Insignia, followed by a factory reset. After re-adding the device, and a burst of blinks, the same steady LED blinking returns.
We all need to call into Insignia support (1-877-467-4289) to report this issue and our expectation that Insignia devise a way to resolve this. Maybe they can keep the 'mothership' online to keep the devices feeling they are online and prevent the LEDs from blinking, or maybe they can update the firmware to remove the dependance on the 'mothership' to prevent the LEDs from blinking. Hey, anybody have Liquid Paper in their desk drawer ?

Funny you mention liquid paper. I thought that as well. Or a very small piece of white tape or something.

Hi, Everyone!
Thanks for the updates regarding your experiences and frustrations with blinking LED lights.
While I know it’s not the solution you all were hoping to hear, according to the FAQ here which was also earlier posted by @TechRider, certain products have the LED flash on/off after service was discontinued. I definitely hear how this would be concerning when you first noticed the blinking lights and I know it’s not an ideal outcome when these products have become an integral part of your homes. With that said, while I cannot guarantee any change or specific result, you are more than welcome to connect with our advanced support teams at (877) 467-4289 regarding your questions or concerns as those agents are best positioned to speak about what may be possible.
Kind regards,

While the FAQ does mention this for some models, the light switch NS-CH1XIS8 is not one of them, which is why I was not expecting it and do expect Insignia to address it. The light switch is installed in bedrooms, and the blinking LED is a nuicance when you're tring to sleep. If you're reading this, call in to Insignia Support and open a case, as many voices can make a difference.
