Today I got a new ISP and new network and password. The only way I could change the network and password with the Insignia devices was to delete them and start all over clean. I deleted everything I could including the Google Home app on my phone and reinstalled it.

I was able to add one NS-CSPGASP and one NS-CSPGASP2, neither time did I get to a step where it said it was configuring the device. Then I tried to add another NS-CSPGASP and it tried to 'configure' it. I get the same error massage as before:

I'm having the same problem setting up an Insignia NS-CSPGASP using my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone. I already have one  NS-CSPGASP plus a NS-CSPGASP2, but I can't add a third one. I get exactly the same message as you. I thought it was a defective speaker so I bought another one at Best Buy and had the exact same problem. 

 

When you visit the Hekp Center you are taken to Google's tech support. When they find out it's an Insignia product and not a Google speaker, they tell you they don't support it and direct you back to Best Buy tech support. This forum is the  only Best Buy tech support I can find and it's not much help at all.

Is there a fix for this yet?  Or should I keep on returning the speakers to Best Buy and picking up a replacement?  I'm currently on my third speaker, will one work eventually or is it a software problem with my google home app/setup?

I advise you to return it and not buy anymore.That's what I did.

Who knows how long it will take Insignia engineers will come up with a resolution. I predict NEVER.

I have the same problem and it seems like its fairly widespread. Hopefully one of the electronics blogs hears about the issue and shames Best Buy into coming up with a fix.

I also have this issue. It appears that there is a limitation of 2 insignia devices. Attempting to add a third fails. Which makes a purchase of more than 2 worthless at this time.

 

I purchased 4, for each room in my house, and will return 2 shortly if no resolution is in sight.

This may make sense but my case is a little different.

I bought two of these and one worked and one didn't. So I bought another one and the third one connected no problem, but the second one still wouldn't.

I even removed all my other devices and it wouldn't connect when there were no other devices connected. So the issue doesn't only have to do with two devices allowed.

I have 4 speakers on one network and did not experience these issues
