Upon reinstalling a Insignia Smart Switch after a few months it was in a box. I found out that Best Buy in their infinite wisdom no longer supports these items.
As a former Elite Plus member, I can say Best Buy is doing more and more to push me to other vendors. This is due to their weak policy of price matching, poor service, employees not knowing basic knowledge and now the above. this is a classic example how they do not care about their customers as well how they react before they think of the impact to their customers.
I can tell you, I look other places now, before I even consider Beat Buy and now I suggest the very same to others!!!

Thanks for join our community and for reaching out. I can understand the disappointment intaking that switch out of storage to find it no longer supported.
You can read about the end of support here. We did have a program to help out customers that owned those products, but that program ended months ago. I’m sorry to hear that you missed out on this because the product wasn’t in use at the time.
