Just purchased 2 Insignia Fire TVs and having horrible results for WI-FI connectivity. When the tvs are turned on, the tv says it is "connected with problems", but will not display any apps. The only way to get the tv to drop the connection is to restart the tv in settings, wait for it to reboot, and then re-enter my WI-FI password. We have 200mbps and the router is in the same room as one of the tvs. I used basic setup because the tvs are for 6 year old kids and I refuse to enter a credit card number to register a tv i already paid for. We don't have this problem on our other 2 tv sets (not Insignia), one of which is a smart tv and the other has an external Roku. Called Insignia customer support and their thoughts were "built up static in the TVs" and/or problems with my ISP. These 2 tvs are less than a month old and the same problem is with both tvs.

Hello bandymc,
Welcome to our community.
I consulted my peers and it was suggested that some routers may have a limitation for the number of connections they can maintain. As a troubleshooting step, I would recommend disconnecting some devices from your network, then try to connect your new TVs.
While I understand you have already connected with Insignia Support on this issue, if the problem persists, I would recommend calling again for assistance with troubleshooting in real time.
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to us.
