Our 43" Insignia Fire TV suddenly went blank when we were watching it. We called Amazon and Insignia and were told that it was probably faulty hardware. How would we go about checking in to that?
The model number we have is NS-43DF710NA21, manufactured July 2020
Since it's only about 2.5 years old, we're a little discouraged to be having this problem already.
Thanks! Mary

Hi, Mary,
Welcome to our Forums! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out to us here. I know it's disappointing when your TV no longer works. I would be happy to assist where I can with this. Can you tell me what trouble shooting steps, if any, you may have taken already?
Sincerely,

We've done any and all things suggested by Amazon (including changing batteries in the remote) and suggested by Insignia. They were the ones who said we had a hardware issue. m.

Hi, Mary,
I understand. If the manufacturer suggested a hardware issue, that is most likely the case. If the TV will not show a picture when nothing else is plugged into it, that pretty much confirms the hardware issue. However, if you want solid proof, you are free to make an appointment with Geek Squad for them to look at your TV. I can make that appointment for you if you'd like. Just hit the Private message button near my signature and provide your name, phone number, and email to get started with that process.
You can also create your own appointment here.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Sincerely,
