Insignia Connect

Since Best Buy is pulling the plug on the Insignia Connect feature, is there any way the development team can at least provide a simple html page to the freezer to show the status???  Currently connecting to the IP of the device launches wifi.js which gives a simple wifi status page and allows you to connect to different wifi networks.  It would be helpful even if the connect app is being orphaned if I could connect directly to the device to see the temperature.
