Device always offline on app

I just bought the wifi camera and was able to set it up to connect to the home wifi. It shows solid blue light

However the app always says device offline. I've tried reinstalling the app, I've done a reset on the camera and gone through the setup again. On the camera side everything seems fine

But never been able to get the app to shore online and view video. Very frustrating

"show online" not "shore online" :-)

Thanks for sharing that you’re having some issues with your Insignia Camera. I understand noticing that your camera shares it’s offline is truly frustrating. I appreciate the time you’ve taken join our community for some further assistance on this matter.


Usually when the Camera states it’s offline this is a glitch, and can be remedied by exiting the camera then enter the camera again within the app. You should be able to review the 4 most recent clips in the Insignia Connect Cloud. Please let me know if know if you’re continuing to have issues, and I’d be happy to offer further troubleshooting advice for you.
