Delete a Home

When I attempt to delete a home it says this property is associated with HomeKit and cannot be deleted. How do I delete the home?

Re: Delete a Home

Greetings, User870835,

Welcome to our community! I understand starting over or fresh can help. I’d be happy to share with you some steps I found on Apple’s website that may answer your question.

If you remove your home from the Home app, all of its data, like accessories, scenes, automations, and people you’ve invited to control your home, will be deleted. You’ll also need to reset each of your accessories before you can set them up again. To reset your accessory, look for a button on the accessory, check its manual, or contact the manufacturer.

To delete your Home and all of its data from the Home app:

On your iOS device: Tap Home Settings Icon in the upper-left corner, then scroll to the bottom and tap Remove Home.

On your Mac: Go to Edit > Edit Home, then scroll to the bottom and click Remove Home.

You can check out more tips on how to manage your HomeKit here.

Respectfully,

Re: Delete a Home

I never set these devices using any Apple device. I have figured out a solution of my own. Thanks for your response and also.
