You have made a great choice on this simple to use portable charger. To answer your question, I have checked the user guide. No mention if one needed since this is based on US/Canada voltage units. However, since your're going abroad and if needing to connect to a wall charger you may need an adapter for example Model NS-TAPSS5 (Insignia Global Travel Adapter Kit).
