I recently had a power outage, and for whatever reason my Insignia speaker did not join back when the WiFi returned. No problem, I've done this plenty of times with my Google Home, the process is very straight forward. Or so I thought.
For whatever reason, I am unable to add this to my Google Home account. I add it as normal, but it hangs up on installing some firmware update. I'm currently on Firmware 314 which is the highest I believe, but everytime I try to set the device up again it insists there is an update I need to install.
This update hangs for a few minutes before failing. Because of this, I don't think the Google Assistant is activating. Every time I say the "Hey Google" phrase, it says "Your Google Assistant isn't setup yet" and instructs me to set it up through the Google Home app. I've tried reseting the device a few times by pressing and holding the mic button, but the error continues to present itself.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Morning, thychubbz,
Welcome to our community! We’re sorry to hear that you’re having some issues on getting your Insignia Voice Speaker up and running after a power outage. We’d be happy to see what light we can shed on this for you.
What cast version is your speaker on? How far is your speaker from your router? Can you please clarify which screen you’re getting hung up on during the installation process? What does it say? We look forward to your reply to see what suggestions we can make for you.
Respectfully,
