Does anyone still have one of these older Insignia HD-01 HD portable radios that suffered a no audio issue? If so I found a solution which worked for mine to restore it to proper working condition. So it may work for your unit also. I see an older thread in these forums which streches back years without a solution to the issue. I'm assuming it's archived now because I see no option to post to it. So I'm posting it here.

As an older post in that thread mentioned it appears to be a microprocessor issue. If you still have of one these units with no audio try this quick fix. Press and hold the reset button and power button together simuntatiously for a couple of seconds then power the unit back on. That's all. This solution worked for my unit so it might work for yours too.
