Hello,

Is there a code for the IS-HC040917 Recieve to use with the RCN Cable Remote (Synergy V RT-U63CDR-115-2)? Code search does not work.

I apologize for the late reply.  Unfortunately, if you've tried the scan feature and the code provided didn't work, then generally speaking, a more advanced universal remote control is required.  If the remote was supplied by a cable or satellite service provider, they may be able to offer additional assistance.

Since you have already ran the code search feature on this remote and it was unable to find a code for the IS-HC040917, this means that the remote is not compatible with the receiver. By using the code search feature you have attempted to use every code that is on that remote for audio receivers. I would suggest running the search again to make sure that it does not detect a code.

Hello Kp,

I would suggest using the code search feature of the Comcast remote by following these steps:

1. Turn on your NS-SBAR.
2. Press the Aux button, then press and hold the Setup button until it blinks twice. Once it blinks twice release the button.
3. Press 9 9 1 3, the Aux button will blink twice.
4. Press the Power button, then aiming the remote at the NS-SBAR, begin pressing the CH+ button repeatedly until the sound bar turns off.
5. Once the NS-SBAR turns off press Setup to lock the code, and the Aux button will blink twice.

I would suggest trying the following codes: 1066, 0706, 0806, 0858, 0859.

If those codes do not work for you then try using the code search feature by following these steps:

1. Turn on the receiver.
2. Press the "Audio" button on the remote.
3. Press and hold the "Set" button until the LED flashes twice.
4. Press 9 9 1, again the LED will flash twice.
5. Press and hold the "Power" button until the the receiver turns off. Once it turns off release the"Power" button.
