I would like to apologize, after taking a second look at my last post I realized that I posted the wrong information. All I posted were TV codes.

I found the correct documentation and I would recommend using the search feature of your remote, to do this follow these steps:

1. Turn the IS-HC040917 on.
2. Hold down the Aux button on the Dish Network remote until all the other mode buttons light up, then let go of the Aux button.
3. Press the number 2 followed by the Star button.
4. Press Power, then start pressing the Up Arrow. Continue to press the Up Arrow until it turns your home theater unit off.
5. After the IS-HC040917 turns off then press the Pound button (this will save the code).

I would suggest trying the following codes: 0189, 0135, 0842. If those codes do not work the I would suggest running the code scan feature.

1. Turn on your NS-R2001.
2. Press the Aux button, then press and hold the Setup button until the Aux button flashes twice. Then release the setup button.
3. Press 9 9 1 the Aux key will flash twice again.
4. Aim the remote at the receiver and alternate between pressing Power and Aux, stop once the receiver turns off.
5. Press the Setup button again to lock the code, and again the Aux button will blink twice.

Try the codes 0491 and 0502. If those do not work then try searching for your code by taking the following steps:

1. Turn on your receiver.
2. Press the Aux button then hold the Setup button until the Aux button blinks twice.
3. Press 9 9 1, again Aux will blink twice.
4. Slowly alternate between pressing Power and Aux, stop when the receiver turns off.
5. Press Setup to lock the code.

Thanks for trying to help but the remote only accepted the 1077 code and none of the functions worked, not even the power function.  I've tried the search feature to no avail.  Any other ideas?
